Services Offered
Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery

Laparoscopic surgery is an advanced surgical technique that is less invasive and therefore less traumatic for our body.
Why do I need Laparoscopic Surgery?
Laparoscopic Procedures are used for a wide range of conditions both diagnostic and therapeutic including endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, chronic pelvic pain and for hysterectomies- Lap assisted (LAVH) and Total Laparoscopic Hysterectomies (TLH).
What happens during a Laparoscopy?
Instead of a large open incision on the abdominal wall (which is also known as Laparotomy) during Laparoscopic surgery small tiny incision/s is/are given to insert a narrow high-definition camera to see a magnified video of the patient’s pelvic area.
Using specifically designed laparoscopic instruments, delicate surgery is performed safely, quickly and effectively with minimal post-op pain, minimal scarring and a quicker recovery time.

The hysteroscope may also be used to take biopsies, and remove any abnormal growths, fibroids or polyps.
IUD & Mirena placement
Hormonal intrauterine devices (or IUDs) like Mirena offers effective, long-term contraception for premenopausal women, including teenagers. Its effects can last for up to 5 years and after removal the individual will return to full baseline fertility prior to insertion.
IUDs can also decrease menstrual problems and endometriosis, the risk of pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), STIs, and endometrial and cervical cancers.
IUD and Mirena placementsare routine OPD procedures smoothly performed with minimal risk.
Fertility Solutions

There can be many reasons why a couple fail to conceive spontaneously or have recurrent miscarriages and in some cases can remain unexplained once all investigations are complete. Couples can seek help after 6-12 months of infertility, or sooner if the woman is over 35.
Other reasons to seek help earlier may be irregular or absent periods, painful periods, a previous history of infertility or a history of gynecological problems such as endometriosis, fibroids or pelvic infection.
A thorough history is taken and then appropriate tests are ordered. This may involve blood tests to assess ovulation and egg reserve, assessment of the fallopian tubes and semen analysis. Sometimes a small surgical intervention involving a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy or HSG to assess the pelvis and uterus further may be indicated. Other tests are based on the information gathered at the assessment. A management plan is then discussed thoroughly with the couple and if and when assisted fertility treatments such as IVF are needed, appropriate referral is advised.

During the consultation she provides all requested information & her opinion about a particular procedure and suggest the best approach to address once issues and concerns. Treatment options:
- Labioplasty
- Perineoplasty
- Hymenoplasty
- Vaginoplasty
Labioplasty
Labioplastyis a surgical procedure for redefining the labia minora (inner labia) and the labia majora (outer labia) the folds of skin surrounding the human vulva. There are two main categories of women seeking cosmetic genital surgery: those with congenital or acquired conditions and those with no underlying conditions who wish to alter the appearance of their genitals because they believe they do not fall within a normal range. Labia reduction surgery is relatively contraindicated for the woman who has active gynecological disease, such as an infection or a malignancy and the woman who is unrealistic in her aesthetic goals. The latter should either be counseled or excluded from the surgery.
Perineoplasty
Perineoplasty is a reconstruction procedure of the perineal area which aims to restore the malformed tissues of the region. Perineoplasty can successfully tighten the area, remove excess of relaxed or folded skin, and strengthen the perineum, thus enhancing sexual gratification as well as day-to-day function. Quite often the perineoplasty is done together with vaginal tightening.
Hymenoplasty (Hymen reconstruction surgery)
The hymen is a membrane which is anatomically positioned close to the entry point of the vagina. Girls or young women who have not yet begun their sexual activity have an intact hymen, in most of the cases. However, there are situations which may lead to an accidental hymen breaking such as during intense physical activities such as exercise, sports, riding a bicycle, etc. A hymen may also break as a result of a severe fall, an injury, using tampons or as a result of masturbation.
Hymenoplasty is the surgical repair of the hymen. Using a surgical technique, the torn edges of the hymen are put back together. If done correctly, to the visible eye, there is no apparent scarring and the hymen appears intact.
Vaginoplasty (Vaginal Tightening)
Women undertake vaginal tightening procedures for a number of reasons, the primary one being to enhance and revitalize sexual experience for themselves and their partners during intercourse. Some of the women have different degree of vaginal and uterine prolapse and urinary incontinence which can be fixed during the vaginal tightening procedure. In the majority of cases vaginoplasty is combined with perineoplasty.
